An Incredible Benefit for OSL Members
OSL has long recognised that part of its commitment to independent churches and ministers has been as the conduit for connection, fellowship and resourcing.
Membership and participation with CTE has historically been complex for independent churches and smaller ministries without any recognised spiritual covering - and while we recognise the need for integrity of standing, this precluded genuine indepdent members from having a local voice.
As an OSL member church or individual minister, you will be recognised (and affirmed) via our CTE membership and share this opportunity to participate within your local CTE group.
We are a Kingdom - and opportunities to be together, work together and share resources are vital to the growth and support of everyone - providing a rich and diverse input of ideas and opportunities.
We actively engage with CTE on a national leadership basis and encourage our members to be involved locally. The picture shows the bilateral relationship-building reception – entitled Deepening our understanding of Orthodox Christianity: Pentecostal, Charismatic and Orthodox Leaders gathering – hosted by CTE in March 2023 - an opportunity to share knowledge of each other’s confessions and to foster deeper relationships. OSL’s Canon Formation, Rev Canon Phil Harris is pictured fourth from right, with CTE General Secretary (and Companion of the Order of St Leonard) Bishop Mike Royal, pictured third from left.
By virtue of your OSL membership, your church or ministry will be welcomed to participate with your local CTE group. OSL will offer letters of confirmation of your good standing in membership, if required.
